At 12 years old I told my mother I wanted to do two things I had never done before: enter a beauty pageant and make a dress. She hesitantly agreed and together we worked on what would be very important staples in my life. Competing in pageantry has offered me self - confidence and communication skills to last a lifetime. Sewing a dress for the first time sparked my interest in fashion design and ultimately allowed me to obtain a bachelor's degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

A graduate in womenswear design, I have brought my love of evening wear into an everyday lifestyle. I have held internships with Christy Rilling, Nanette Lepore, Katie Fong and even worked along Givenchy's  design team for Met Gala four years in a row. I have learned the ins and outs of working in design, production, and made to measure.
